    Constance Guille, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed her Psychiatry Residency Training at Yale University where she was a program-wide Chief Resident and Chief Resident on the Clinical Neuroscience Research Unit. She received additional training at Yale University in the sub-specialty of Perinatal Psychiatry before arriving at MUSC where she completed a brief post-doctoral research fellowship at the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center. Dr. Guille recently received a BIRCWH (Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health) career development award and has transitioned her research into the area of Perinatal Psychiatry investigating biological markers of postpartum depression. Dr. Guille is an early career investigator, educator and practitioner. Her clinical practice focuses on the management of mental health problems in pregnancy and postpartum and provides educational opportunities for medical students and residents in this area.
