Dr. E. Ramsay Camp, M.D., FACS is an Associate Professor of Surgery, Section of Surgical Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate degree at Davidson College and his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. He performed his General Surgery training at the Shand's Hospital at the University of Florida and went on to complete a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

His clinical and research interests focus on gastrointestinal malignancies including pancreatic, rectal, and gastric cancer as well as melanoma and sarcoma. Since becoming a faculty member in 2007, he has helped develop the Melanoma and Skin Cancer Program and currently serves as the program leader. Dr. Camp has an active research laboratory with a focus on mechanisms of chemotherapy and radiation resistance. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of various oncology societies including the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association of Cancer Research, National Surgical Adjuvant Breast and Bowel Project (NSABP), Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), and the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group (ACOSOG).

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
