    Collapse overview
Dr. Nathaniel received his PhD in Neuroscience from the International Graduate School of Neuroscience, Ruhr University of Bochum Germany. He did his postdoctoral training at Bowling Green State University Ohio. Thereafter, Dr. Nathaniel took a faculty position at Marywood University Scranton, and Clinical Faculty Position at The Commonwealth Medical College Scranton. His research focus is on a combination of Molecular, Cellular and System Neuroscience using interdisciplinary approaches to work on applied and translational aspects of human diseases, such as stroke and drug addiction. He is currently an Associate Editor and member of the Editorial Board of several selected scientific journals. Dr. Nathaniel received awards, which include DAAD scholar award and Volkswagen research award among others. He has published several articles in peer reviewed journals, and co-authored book chapters.

PMC Citations indicate the number of times the publication was cited by articles in PubMed Central, and the Altmetric score represents citations in news articles and social media. (Note that publications are often cited in additional ways that are not shown here.) Fields are based on how the National Library of Medicine (NLM) classifies the publication's journal and might not represent the specific topic of the publication. Translation tags are based on the publication type and the MeSH terms NLM assigns to the publication. Some publications (especially newer ones and publications not in PubMed) might not yet be assigned Field or Translation tags.) Click a Field or Translation tag to filter the publications.
