Milos N. Budisavljevic, M.D. is Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, S.C. Dr. Budisavljevic is a graduate of the Unibversity of Sarajevo Medical School School of Medicine (former Yugoslavia). He completed residency in Medicine at the University of Sarajevo and residency in Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He had research fellowship in Nephrology at INSERM U 64 in Paris, France. Dr. Budisavljevic has basic research interests in pathogenesis of glomerulonephritis. His clinical interests include dialysis complications and renal function in long term kidney donors. He is a member of National Kidney Foundation, American and International Society of Nephrology, Southern Society for Clinical Investigation and American Society for Apheresis.
