She serves as the Clinical Director for the Lupus Clinical Trials Consortium at MUSC, is a member of the Lupus Foundation of America (LFA) Medical-Scientific Advisory Council, the Lupus Clinical Investigator Network (LuCIN), and a member of the Systemic Lupus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC). Dr. Kamen’s ongoing research focuses on the environmental and epigenetic triggers of autoimmune diseases, particularly lupus.
