This page shows the details of why an item matched the keywords from your search.
One or more keywords matched the following properties of Lang, Hainan
overview Hainan Lang, M.D, Ph.D. engages in basic hearing research focused on molecular mechanisms of auditory nerve function and repair, myelin degeneration and cochlear macrophage dysfunction in presbyacusis, and auditory impairments in autism spectrum disorders. Working with collaborators within and outside MUSC, our research projects utilize a multidisciplinary approach including cell and molecular biology, auditory electrophysiology, complex mouse behavioral analyses, cochlear gene therapy, and the comparisons of the cochlear pathology between mouse models and postmortem human temporal bones.
