I been doing research during the last 18 years in the field of cardiovascular developmental biology, related to embryology and the initial formation of the heart; the development and maturation of valves and septum of the heart. In my field I have published; 26 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and 10 books chapters, in which I am the first or co-first author in 6 of them. My work has been recognized by citation more than 900 times by other experts in the field of cardiovascular developmental biology. I have taught in different fields as Bio-Mathematics, Bio-Physics and Reproductive Biology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM)
