Dr. Christon received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology and developmental psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Medicine, where she specialized in pediatric psychology. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in clinical psychology with a focus on adolescent and young adult mental health, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in cardiovascular behavioral medicine clinical research.
