    Dr. Schlenz is a pediatric psychologist with expertise in sickle cell disease and other chronic health conditions.She is particularly interested in understanding how biomedical and psychosocial factors work together to influence health outcomes in children. Dr. Schlenz’s work includes procedural and recurrent pain, health-related quality of life, and developmental issues in pediatric sickle cell disease. She provides psychological services to children with sickle cell disease,including developmental screening, neuropsychological evaluation, and brief psychosocial consultation.
